I'm new to the Lincoln area, and thought I'd say Hi!
So, what kind of things do you get up to at Lincoln Computer Club?

Our Club is a collection of people who are interested in computers and using various software and hardware. Varying degrees of knowledge, best thing is to come along and look.

First two visits are free of charge, and we have a pro-rata charge for the subs.

Next meeting is tonight 8-10 but you can arrive and leave as you wish, hope to see you there.

Hope you come and see us, would like to point out that we are interested in using the computer as a tool, and not any of us use it just for 'computer games' (smiley)

Oh well I won't make it tonight as I already have plans, but possibly in the future.
Don't worry, I don't use computers just for games, although I have previously worked for a computer games company.
My current interests are programming and web design. What about everybody else?
How many people are in the club?

A very good start!

Photos, Genalogy, multimedia and learning what all the buttons do, seemed to be what is on the menu at the moment. How about registering on the board?

was it simply a few lines, like

'this should not have happened, contact an admin'

white screen with black text? And a simple reload of the page then worked, or was it something else, as I can not replicate it again (smiley)

Almost as worrying is that this is running on a phpbb2 board, (smiley)

That was a mistake,

It would seem that on the last update, an old link had been reinstated, I have a backup plan to move the board to a phpbb3 setup if required. Problem is this is a highly modified board, which has taken years to produce, and the phpbb3 software will not support all we have here .

Anyway, one bug , found, and delt with , . (smiley)
